With recent changes in immigration policies, many of you have reached out asking: What’s happening at the border? The truth is, there’s no clear answer. |
For the mothers and birthing people we serve, uncertainty has become a constant. Some are trying to build a future in Tijuana, searching for stable jobs and permanent housing. Others, despite the fear and risks, have made the painful decision to return to where they have family and familiarity. Every decision carries a mix of hope, resilience, and grief.
At Mama2Mama, we are here to ensure no mother faces this moment alone. We’ve deepened our Mamas at the Border programs to provide critical skills, tools, and emotional support, no matter where their journey takes them: | |
|
A game-changer for better job opportunities and financial independence, whether moms stay in Tijuana, return home, or reach the U.S. Led by our co-founder, these classes offer confidence and new possibilities. |
Somatic Therapy & Mental Health Support |
Helping moms process trauma, regain stability, and navigate uncertainty with greater clarity and strength.
|
| Classes empowering moms with a skill that provides steady income, whether working in a salon or starting their own business—empowering them with economic independence no matter where they live. |
Offering tools to strengthen bonds, create structure, and build confidence in their roles as mothers. In a time of instability, their love remains the strongest foundation for their children. |
|
|
Through it all, these mothers continue to show remarkable strength, working tirelessly to create a future for their families despite the barriers in their way. We are honored to walk alongside them, ensuring they have access to the resources, knowledge, and community they need to take their next steps with confidence. |
With gratitude, The Mama2Mama team |
